Why Stretch Fabric?
Fabric and materials are important, and there is an ever-evolving conversation around the topic. Here at HOT FREQ, our activewear is made of spandex and nylon, two of the most popular stretch fabrics on the market. Stretch fabric also means plastic. We are telling you that up front, because we know how much this matters to our community.

Why we use it. Activewear has a job to do. It has to move when you move, hold its shape through a deep lunge, support you where you need it, and pull sweat off your skin in a hot room. Nylon and spandex do all of that. We picked the fabric that performs for the practice.
Since we love our yogi community, and know that many of you prioritize sustainability, we wanted to be forthright and answer your questions honestly, before you even have to ask them. We continue to seek out alternatives and test various fabrics. When we find the answer, you will know, and we hope that as HOT FREQ grows and evolves, so do our fabrics.
